ANNUAL There are few annuals that will grow as easily or abundantly in shady areas. Plants are grown for their exotic foliage, which comes in a variety of bold colors, including multihued leaf pattern. Plants are ideal in beds, borders, mass plantings or containers. They also make brilliant house plants.
Care: Keep plants moist, but avoid wetting foliage in heat to the day. Bait to ward off damage from snails and slugs.
