PERENNIAL The Blue Poppy has been a unique fixture in The Butchart Gardens since the 1920's. A very short time after its' discovery by Captain Frederick Marshman Bailey in the Himalayas, Jenny Butchart planted the seeds and today it continues to flourish. This seed must be started in a cool greenhouse. It requires extra special care, particularly during its long germination period. Detailed growing directions are inside the package.
